So I just learned that in the last round of wolfkrieg the judge paired two Blue on Blue games forcing two blobs to fight and two German tank lists to fight. This resulted in a German top general and the blobs going 1-1 in the last round instead of them keeping it RvB as they had promised. Makes me glad I didn't go because I would have vented my spleen.

OK....two questions: Whats a blob? Wouldn't venting your spleen be painful? OK, second question was a joke... I am not crazy about blue on blue games - I much prefer games where you have an Axis and Allied player....just my humble opinion.... Larry

Tom also explained why he changed the final round. because the 2 "blob" armies were eating every opponent they faced. So he put the Strelk and Shratf armies against each other for top dog and best soviet general positions and put the 2 top german companies against each other for top german commander. He did this only after talking to all 4 people and they all accepting.

So if the Germans didn't have a player or list able to handle the soviets its their fault and they should lose. Cleaves always preaches player over list and yet he agreed to that??

Well get ready for more blobs with Hammer and Sickle.. I saw a copy of it this weekend and thats all I noticed besides some of the armor lists having guards/soviet options like they did with the normandy/italy options for units.
