Maus in FOW

Hey Warren. We were talking "what if" the Maus were to be in a FOW game and check me if this is right.

If so it puts a perspective on how awesome this machines armour was in comparison to other vehicles.

Panther armour
Front armour 80mm sloped 55*= 10
Side armour 50mm = 5
top armour 16mm= 1
Side of turret 50mm= 5

Tiger 1
100mm thick no slope= 9
side armour 80mm= 8
top armour 25mm= 2
Sides of turret 80mm=8

MAUS

Front armour 200mm sloped 35*= 21
Side armour 180mm= 18
top armour 60mm= 6
turret 200-240mm thick= 20

no penalty for the turret facing any direction.

128mm cannon with a 75 mm coaxial.

AT 18 Firepower 2+ ROF 2
AT 10 Firepower 3+ ROF 2



would move 6" and roll a bog check every time it moves.
treat regular as difficult going
treat dificult going as very difficult going
treat very difficuly going as impassable

can not cross bridges.

What would one cost points wise since it is indestuctable but has the ability to be useless at the same time.


Also what would make up the rest of the list to replicate the only one that saw any combat? Grens, SS, Tanks?

Or you could use one in a modified hold the line:
One Maus versus an endless assault of Russians; and since the only thing to be afraid of are flamethrowers, it'd be a fun shooting gallery style game

I would drop the top armour to 5 being that the deck armour is only 50mm thick. I figure about 600 points for one as Fearless Conscript.

Being that the Maus is water proof to 40 feet, preventing smoke and flames from entering the vehicle would a flame thrower auto bail it?

yup flame does alot more than just get inside most tanks it dosnt get inside it just cooks the crew in the coffin or it ignites that engine which is not going to be protected. The 40 foot thing is after they add a snorkle and several other items to the tank it dosnt drive around that way.
