Ive been seeing advertised both 1/100th scale and/or 15mm which is 1/87th scale. havent compared them yet to anything , but does anyone know what scale FOW kits are actually?

1/100th is the scale of the figures and vehicles. 1/144 for aircraft. 1/87th for the Fustung Bunkers. 15mm is a loose scale. Some 15mm figures are measured from the shoulders others from the head. FOW models are measured from the head making them 1/100th scale. Anything HO scale or 1/87th is also classified as 15mm but measured from the shoulders.

Most of the FOW figures have oversized heads anyway. I remember reading why but I can't remember the reason. I know the newer models are more in proportion to scale. 1/87th should work to do head transplants. You can compare them at any hobby shop with HO trains and see if it is an improvement.
