Tigers vs Trenches isnt to much of a problem. Pakfront only deploys an at12 asset and that has to deploy infront of me so unless I roll a 1 or 2 depending on the range. The template weapons are not to bad only the 150 mm guns realy provide the punch to make it greater than a 16% chance of penatrateing. The real challange is the infantry being able to move in BP cover. I will have to peel the onion of your defense quick enough that I have time to shell you down. I do have 1 Tiger list that mounts Hummels that is quiet able to clear a trench. If the person is useing Tiger Is it is ok because I have more and should be abel to overwhelm them with fire. If they invest in 3 or more then it plays to my favor because I have more and it has limited his support. The real fear I have of a Sturmkompanie is when they have Hornises because they can knock out several Tigers with ease if used right before I can slag them. A lucky hit from AT 13 is saveable a hit from AT 16 is a hurt Tiger.

i personally think Brit infantry are the best equipped to take on Sturm lists. Heavy armor , infantry in mass, and good arty in one list.

What about the Soviet lists that are in the Osterfront Brief that the Sturm Division was designed to play against. I agree, there may be some lists in other briefs that can compete. Especially, if it is someone with lots of experience. People talk lightly of the Strurm Division on the FOW website. They act as if its no problem to play. I'm guessing that they play the Sturm Division totaly differently that at our club. Tiger 505 may just enlighten them on the proper use of the Sturm Division!!! Ha Ha Ha See everyone Sunday. =)

Sorry guys, I meant Stalin's Onslaught. Since i do not care about the Russins, i do not need the book. I have to trust the opponents list. Do they have a list of all the PDF files for FOW somewhere? I know they are on the FOW website. When i use the search engine, i type in PDF, files, articles containing PDF's etc... It returns, nothing matching. People discuss how points may differ from brief to brief. Since certain lists are designed for each other, there are supposed to be amendments to equalize the lists from brief to brief when used in tournaments. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Firsttofight,
From the main FOW webpage click on "Hobby", a submenu (bar) will appear and on it click on "Briefings". There is where you will find all the current official PDF's for late war. Someone tried telling me they took a bunch of them "down" to update them but I don't buy that reason.
Either produce the PDF at the game or shuddit! =P

The Hummel option sounds great ! to bad the brummbar doesnt get indirect fire . I wanted an excuse to field the rocket maultiers (love those models ) but I dont thinl they would be as effective
