1750 Mid-War. 1942 Theme!
*** 1942 is the Theme of the tournament. More details below.
*** Games will be Axis vs. Allies until round 5.
*** This is a 2 day, 5 round tournament. 3 Games of Saturday and 2 games on Sunday
*** Prizes will include; Best Overall, Best Allied General, Best Axis General, Best Painted, and Best Sport.

Scenarios:
***Expect anything! 8 Missions to choose from: Free For All, Encounter, No Retreat, Breakthrough, Break Out, Night Assault (modified), Fighting Withdrawl, Cauldron. 3 Defensive Battles and 2 Mobile Battles will be played.
*** Death From Above maybe substituted for FFA and/or Encounter for US Airborne and German Fallschirmjaeger Coys.

***Scoring Changes!!!!– Generalship is separate from Painting.
*** A card system will be used for scoring, a dice will be used for random table assignments.

We will have a Terrain Table Competition with prizes donated by Miniature Building Authority. If you would like to participate in the terrain table challenge by bringing a Table, please let me know.

2> What style of table are you bringing. (ie: Winter, Desert, Eastern Front, Italy.)
3> Try to setup your table Friday Night (May 27th) if possible.

Players who limit themselves to forces that are "1942 Compliant"
will be primarily matched against opposing "1942 Compliant Forces.” When a “1942
Complaint Force” out of necessity is matched against a 1943 force, the “1942 Compliant
Force” will have a bonus “General Fire Support” (see below) added for that round. 1942
Forces will be primarily matched up against other 1942 forces whenever possible.
What are “1942 Compliant Forces?” These are forces that have equipment that
would have been available for use in 1942.
“General Fire Support”
--veteran armies get a 150mm arty strike on a 4+ w/ veteran arty
--trained armies get a 150mm arty strike on a 3+ w/ trained arty
--conscript armies get a 150 arty strike on a 2+ w/ conscript arty
-- Elite status is the same as Veteran
-- Regular status is the same as Trained
This is only if a 1942 army plays a 1943 army.

PROXIES
I will allow minor proxying to happen! For example - You can proxy M5a1 Stuarts in place of M3a1 Stuarts. You can proxy PzII-L for PzII-Fs. If your PzIII-L has schurzen you can proxy them without schurzen. That sort of thing. They WILL have a marker identifying them to EVERYONE that you are proxying with a banner of shame!

Bonus Ability - For getting your army list in on time! MAY 14th
-- These abilities will be usable on Day 1 and NOT on Day 2!--
Germans - "It's Rommel!" -- The German player may re-roll any one failed motivation check. (This maybe a re-roll of a re-roll!)
Italian - "Carpe Diem!" -- Once per game, after all platoons have rolled on the 8-million Bayonet table, one platoon may be selected to re-roll their result.
American - "Well PFC, your our new Cmdr". Once per game the American player may use "Mission Tactics" to replace a just killed Platoon Commander.
British - "Bag Pipes for everyone" -- Any British 2iC can shrug-off 1 hit per game. Ability must be stated (used) after any one save is taken but before firepower is rolled. If the 2iC is armored the final result will be bailed out instead of destroyed.
Soviet - "CHARGE!" -- The Soviet player may take a bonus recon move with any one combat or weapons platoon. This move must be out of their deployment zone.
Hungarians - "HUZZAR!" -- The Hungarian player may take a bonus move before the game with any one platoon. This can include attempting to dig-in. No re-roll for being gophers/PSV maybe used.
