7th armored list options

So Im torn between to lists. each has its good and bad points.

list 1 is the list im currently running

Hq - 160
2 crusader AA tanks - 90

combat - 325
combat - 325
combat - 325

M10c's - 275
TT infantry - 175 CV
scout patol (3 carriers) - 75

1750

it has the CV infantry to take cover or to hold obj. but list has no smoke. carriers are still good recon. plus list has one of my favorite tanks, Crusaders . . . .

list 2

Hq - 160

Combat - 325
Combat - 325
Combat - 325

3 Stuarts - 135
M 10c's - 175
4 gun sexton section - 205

still 6 platoons, lose the infantry and the crusaders but, gain smoke and a template, upgrade recon to fast version.

any thoughts?

i could some how add in the two cs cromwell tanks for 160 points from the hq

i really dont like sextons for the price they are a fairly sad HE template

very true. i'll stick with what i have for now. if i see a need for it ill fix it somehow

sexton's are a waste of points. The first list is MUCH better then the second list. The First list is what Dave runs and is very close to my 7th armored list. I drop the AA crusaders, drop the infantry to reluctant and add in stuarts. Having the whole army move at almost the speed of light is AWESOME! VERY powerful. Forget smoke, you want to shoot stuff anyway.

One of the main reasons I chose this was the crusaders its one of my favorite tanks. I would Like to keep them.

smoke isnt a bad option just because your fast dosnt mean you can kill a tiger even from the flank with at 10 =) stuarts are infantry killers in a list that should already blitz infantry to death
