Depends on how you allow the combat platoons to be set up. Being 600 points can you plop down less than the minimum? If not a lot of tank companies will have problems. I wouldn't mind running an HQ Tiger and a single combat platoon Tiger. It would be impervious to all 21 tanks but have a very hard time with infantry.
I also thought about running some Americans. I like this list for 600.

Nat Grinders are 600 points with 1 Combat platoon and an HQ required. All missions are FFA on a 2 by 3 table. Your one platoon of Tigers dosnt have the RoF to kill me nor the ability to be on both objectives. =) I litterly just drive over dieing and sit on both and you lose.

Good point. games that win OR LOSE fast. I am going with the lone observer team and the Enola Gay. I would lose by turn one every game. Knock a game out every 5 minutes.
Maybe not .....trying to lose with my rotten luck I might win each game after several turns of trying to fail motivation and save rolls while my one stand defeats all that come towards it.

Grinders are pure hell. Last year I played 11 games 8 in the speed rounds and 3 more in the single elim to get 2nd place.
