New goals.

Well I have been avoiding the specialty lits for months now as I have truly found a home in FEII. I think my Grenadiers and British Rifles are truly two of the best armies I have used. With this thought in mind I am going to devote all of my friendly game time to specialty lists. Stumkompanie and Heer Tiger units are now on my block to tested and explored. I have played both unit types before but not in a while.

This list is a different approach to my old 1750 Sturm list and has been heavily influenced by my recent experience with infantry.

Heer Tiger Kompanie Experiment

I got to set it up once but we only played 3 turns so I plan to revisit it. I know the SS Tigers where very competitive last year and I want to see how the Heer list handles. I have my concerns but I cant be the TK without running Tigers now can I?

The sturm list is solid, I played that list once, except I used a ton of mortars instead of 10.5s. Let me know how that works for you. I also just put in a full machine gun section in mine but again, different options may work better. I think that one is pretty solid.

The heer Tigers seem pretty standard to me, which is good, not trying to sound insulting. CJ runs his tigers which would do okay if we could ever have a game where he didn't roll abysmally . That list is something we had been toying with, it just seems like that would run better than his current setup.

Both lists seem pretty okay once you get some testing in let me know how they run.

Yeah I tested 2 types of sturm for a while but I was never entirely happy with them. The Heer list I havent tested at all. I have been so caught up in how well the FE II lists work I have neglected the other books lol. Now I will try to correct that.

Just curious if you have ever tried to run a mechanized unit of pzgrendiers and how well they performed?

The first army I tryed was Gepanzerate but I hated it. The army relies on rapid cut and slash which is hard to do against someone of your skill. Half tracks are fragil and ranged AT is plentiful.

I have the moto rifle list dude you wanting to try to 2k or the 1750 =)
