2000pt Sperrverrband

I recently bought a Sperr Company box for pretty cheap. The plan is to use the awesome models as not only the Sperrverrband, but as any infantry I may need later on. Also, since my German collection is basically non-existant, I'm going to use Ron's Germans for playing a Sperr list.

Here's what I have so far:

To me this looks like a solid core, and I've still got 550 points left. The problem is that many of my combinations leave my company with 9 platoons, and we all know that odd is not aesthetically pleasing for FoW platoons.

I've looked at having Pz IV, AA, and lelG18; StuGs and PanzerPios; and Pz IV with a mix of Luftwaffe support. I hope the combined genius of everyone on this site can give some direction.

Germans can kampfgruppe so whats the issue lol

Hmm... I see what you mean. I can pay for 9 platoons, then kampfgruppe the HMG or some infantry as a second platoon as needed. My problem with that was that the core platoons are so small anyway and kampfgruppe would make them too fragile.

KG out and HMG and add in a PS or add the PS and KG 1 PS out

A tiny, ambushing, tank killing platoon of doom led by Windgruber. Sounds like something I need to try it out.
